Bryan JV Silver 27, League City Clear Springs 0: Stephan Ellis scored two rushing touchdowns to lead the Bryan JV Silver team past League City Clear Springs on Thursday.

Ryan Way added a 4-yard touchdown run and Randy Coping had a 10-yard scoring run. Jacob Davis added a PAT and Way found Aguilar with a two-point conversion pass.

Defensively, Jimmy Fackler recovered a fumble and Zack Sticker and Enrique Leon played well.

Bryan (1-0) will host Round Rock McNeil next week.

Clear Springs JV 41, Bryan Blue 12: Ike Jones and LaKeight McKinney each scored rushing touchdowns as the Bryan JV Blue team fell to Clear Springs.

Bryan's Bykeith Campbell had an interception, and Edward Munoz, Jeremy Bosquez and Raheim Phillips also played well defensively.

Blue (0-1) will host Round Rock McNeil next week.

Snook Junior High 12, Brazos Christian Middle School 7: John Gillett rushed for 75 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown for Brazos Christian in the loss.

Gillett also kicked the PAT.

Jake Mueller led the Eagles on defense with eight tackles and a fumble recovery. Cole Elms added five tackles, including two tackles for loss, and caused a fumble.

BCS plays at Somerville, 5 p.m. Thursday.

Navasota Freshmen 35, Willis 0: Hunter Sparkman proved to be a triple threat for the Navasota freshmen against Willis, scoring on a 1-yard run, throwing a 23-yard touchdown pass to Willie Creeks and catching a 35-yard touchdown pass from Gregory Chapman.

Chapman added a 45-yard touchdown run and Jordan Wells scored on a 70-yard run.

Navasota (1-1) will host Rudder next week.

Navasota JV 20, Willis 6: Howard Horn scored three rushing touchdowns for the Navasota JV and Austin Collins ran in a two-point conversion run.

Navasota (2-0) hosts Rudder next week.

Bryan freshman Blue 27, Clear Springs 7: Bryan's Joseph Clay and Bobby Johnson each scored two rushing touchdowns and Jose Villanueva converted three PATs.

Kenneth McKinney, Alvin Adams, Cory Johnson and LeDarius Hill each had interceptions for Bryan.

Bryan freshman Silver 24, Clear Springs 6: Titus Cooper scored two rushing touchdowns and Keyon Searcy and Jamarkus Amos each added one for the Bryan freshmen.

Sidney Peterson had an interception and Anthony Salinas and Quintarius Jackson each recovered a fumble.

Rudder JV 49, Leander Rouse JV 26: Tre Guyton and JD Davenport each scored three rushing touchdowns for the Rudder JV.

Davenport also found Jamison Coles with a 30-yard touchdown pass and Colton Bayer added all seven PATs.

Rudder (2-0) will play at Navasota next week.

Rudder sophomore 12, Franklin JV 12: The Rudder sophomore team split off from the JV for a game against Franklin, and CJ Bills scored both touchdowns for the Rangers on a 55-yard run and a 10-yard run.

Rudder's Mathieu Myrick recovered a fumble and Luke Piper intercepted a pass.

The Rudder sophomore team will rejoin the JV next week.

Rudder freshmen 28, Leander Rouse 14: Quin Haynes threw three touchdown passes and added a 3-yard scoring run for Rudder.

Joshua Woodard had scoring catches of 26 and 22 yards and Charles Veal had a 55-yard scoring catch. Ja'Quar Johnson caught a two-point conversion.

The Rangers forced five turnovers. Mark Davenport, Flederick Lewis, Devin Johnson and Tavion Wilson each had interceptions for the Rangers, while Davenport added a fumble recovery.
