The Lady Tigers (9-15, 3-5) began the second round of District 12-5A basketball action with a victory that kept their faint playoff hopes alive. Consol moved into a fifth-place tie with Harker Heights, two games behind Ellison (21-6, 5-3) for the fourth and final playoff berth from the league.
