GARLAND -- The Bryan boys gymnastics team won its second straight state championship, beating out Garland Lakeview Centennial by a state-record 7.4-point margin Saturday at the Special Events Center.
Bryan also won five of seven individual titles with senior Alex Reyes winning the parallel bars, senior Stefan Quartermont winning the still rings and horizontal bar and Enoch Rodriguez winning the pommel horse and the all-around titles.
Seniors Grayson Tedrick, Cody Palasota and Jesse Martinez and sophomore Michael Gonzalez filled out the Vikings' squad, which won its sixth state title in the last 23 years.
